I am all for restoring things back to their glory.
We purchased the house for $44,000 with a acre and a half of land.

The chamber room, used to have an old rackety furnace sitting in the corner.

The old laundry room to the left is now my therapy chair in my water closet.

the paneling closet in the dining room, is now home of a beautiful antique pie safe.

the tall windows are now gone and the energy effecient windows are in

The yosimine Park wallpaper with bright mustard color is gone
and a make shift window is now above the sink.

the old sink is now on another wall and we change the window from a double to a single

the old nasty greasy stove is out of there and replaced with a ceramic top stove.

The tiny tiny bathroom/back porch is now a huge bathroom housing my clawfoot tub.

The beautiful stairwell we kept, but out was that old paneling and
in with a wonderful warm sitting area under the stairswell
